Your partner in brand strategy, visual identity, and implementation.

I’m Jill Jacobs, a fine artist and graphic designer enamored with building and scaling brands. I specialize in creating brand strategy, developing visual identities, building brand kits, and designing marketing assets.

I revel in the process from dream-state discussions to practical implementation.

I’ve conducted rebrands and marketing campaigns for B2B and B2C in-house EdTech and MarTech companies, and also have experience in agency and non-profit.

What I do

  • Carry out brand audits, competitive analysis, and moodboards in alignment with short- and long-term company goals

  • Develop color palettes, logos, typography, shapes and patterns, icon and illustration style, data visualization, motion aesthetics, and photography

  • Build and maintain brand toolkits and design systems

  • Test systems for where they break, test accessibility, align to mission, pillars, voice and tone, and ensure scalability

  • Compose guidelines, briefs, and presentations around visual best practices

  • Design templates and assets for ads, website, email, decks, social, ebooks, print, and events for designers and non-designers to use day-to-day

How I do it

  • I conduct a bunch of upfront research, have conversations in groups and one-on-one, respect the brand in its current state, and steward it into a new era.

  • I communicate clearly and often, ensuring I’m delivering on what the team and stakeholders most want to see come to life, and have no ego around the work I create.

  • I do deep dives into all the rabbit holes you don’t have time to explore yourself.

  • I wrap my head around goals, larger company strategy, and align to audiences and brand story to create targeted, skimmable, and beautiful assets.

  • I bring a fine art lens, a balance of creative visual storytelling, precision, efficiency, and critical thinking, so what we create resonates and has staying power.

After hours

When I step away from the computer, I make time to create abstract metal sculptures, hammock in my own little patch of woods and read too many books at once.
